Fishing under the Full Moon

A 5:30am walk on South Haven’s piers is usually a solitary one. Not today! I was in the company of at least a dozen fisherman on both piers before sunrise this morning. I am not sure if the fish were biting. If they weren’t, the folks out on the pier at least caught a beautiful glimpse of the full moon setting on Lake Michigan._MG_4925

Looking for Breakfast


I set off to the shores of Lake Michigan early Friday morning in hopes of catching some images of the full moon setting over the lake. I was unsuccessful as the moon was bashful and decided to hide behind a cloud bank. Let’s just hope the heron was more successful in catching breakfast…
